Pam Dent, Charlottesville Realtor

Pam Dent

Pam Dent is almost a native of Charlottesville having moved here in the second grade. She was lucky to have the opportunity to grow up exploring the Virginia countryside from the back of a horse. Pam’s college years were spent attending Miami of Ohio where she studied art and obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree, acquiring a sense of design and appreciation of beauty which still influences everything she does. After graduation Pam returned to Virginia and the countryside that she loved where she raised two daughters in an Albemarle county home surrounded by ponies and dogs.

For many years Pam trained and sold show hunters and jumpers to buyers from all over the United States. This experience gave her a respect for the environment, a love for the rural nature of Central Virginia and a commitment to preserve the natural beauty that makes Virginia such a special place in which to live. As a horse property specialist she has the knowledge that makes her ideally suited to work with the equestrian buyer or to market your Charlottesville horse property.

Pam's latest passion is the fascinating and endlessly frustrating game of golf. This naturally evolved into an interest in Charlottesville golf communities. As a golf community specialist, Pam can use her interest in the game to help you with the sale or purchase of a golf course home.

In addition Pam has an extensive knowledge of our Central Virginia neighborhoods and can help you find the perfect residential property. She also has the SRES, Seniors Residential Specialist designation and can help clients who are “55 and better” with the transition to a home that is right for this stage in their life.

The e-PRO and IMSD (internet marketing specialist) designations give Pam the expertise to effectively promote your home or farm in today’s competitive real estate market.

When she is not actually marketing and selling real estate, Pam is actively involved in our real estate organizations, serving on standing as well as special projects committees for the Charlottesville Albemarle Association of Realtors and is past president of the Blue Ridge Chapter of the Women’s Council of Realtors, and is a member of the CAAR Professional Honor Society. Outside of the Realtor community, Pam serves as the secretary of the Central Virginia Chapter of the American Marketing Association and is on the board of the Charlottesville Albemarle Kennel Club. You will also usually find her involved in one of several charity fundraising events during the year.

Daniel Michaelson

Daniel grew up in Northern Virginia, and first experienced the charm of Central Virginia while a student at UVA, where he earned degrees in Environmental Sciences and Engineering Science. After earning an MS in Environmental Engineering from UMD, and working in a variety of capacities including as an agricultural researcher, environmental regulator, and construction project manager he decided to apply his interests and experience to real estate.

A search for quality of life and a healthy place to raise a family lead Bridget to Charlottesville from Los Angeles in 1983. With horses, rivers, mountains, and country living, this area was a perfect choice.

Bridget’s real estate career began with town properties until she decided that she most enjoyed selling country properties. Her website, CharlottesvilleCountryEstates.com, consistently attracts buyers worldwide when searching for estates, country properties and equestrian properties in Charlottesville.

Bridget invests 100% delivering first class service to her customers and clients and she has developed a strong loyalty, as seen in her referral business.  Personal service and experience are the cornerstones of Bridget’s business.  She is successful at negotiating good prices for buyers and getting top dollar for her seller clients.  She is well respected for her business sense, marketing savvy, and experience.
